Recognition of individuals by the government of Italy is an honor bestowed on a few individuals. A number of Lido Club members have been nominated for various degress of recognition for their work in support of Italian/Americans in the United States, in preserving Italian culture and in support of various charitable causes which directly impacted Italians both in the United States and Italy.
